Animals are an inseparable part of human life. Thinking back to your childhood, what kinds of stories did you hear as a child that involved animals? Why do you think your parents have told you those stories? What do you think is the moral lesson of the story? Is there more than one moral lesson to the story? Why or how is the story important to you?
Describe the story in detail using the standard five paragraph essay style format, having an introduction, conclusion, and body. In the introduction, introduce the story and why the story is important to you. In the body, describe the story in detail and explain the moral lesson of the story. In the conclusion, discuss why you thought the the story was worthwhile and the impact it has made on your life.
Remember to make it interesting! Your introduction also should have a hook statement or question to grab the reader's attention. Also, don't forget to give a little background on your story. Don't assume the reader knows the story because he/she may not.
Your paper can be single spaced with spaces in between paragraphs or double spaced.
OR
The other option is to write a one-page essay on any topic related to Units 6-8. Remember to have the same format as the above but you should clearly state your point (focus of the paper) in a thesis statement. Thesis statements usually likes to live in the last sentence of the introduction.
